Frequently asked questions

  • When should my AC be serviced?
    Your AC should be serviced Mid Spring and Mid Summer by washing your coils, checking your condenser fan motor, run capacitor and contactor, also changing filters and checking sytem for leaks.
  • Is it normal to be adding refrigerant to my system every year?
    No, it is a closed system and therefore you should not have to add any more refrigerant to the sytem unless there is a leak, and in that case the leak would need to be found and repaired prior to adding more refrigerant.
  • When should I change my indoor Air Filter?
    It depends on the type of filter you purchase. If they are 30 day filters then change them monthly to prevent you from losing air flow and cause system issues. If its a pleaded filter they can last up to three months and then should be changed accordingly.
